General Bond Information Volunteer and fundraising bonds are additional to the program registration fee and are calculated on a session-by-session basis. If a child is registered for a fall session program, then decides to continue for the winter session the fall fundraising bond will need to be finalized in December and a new bond amount will be applied in January for both volunteering and fundraising.
Families have a choice to pay the bond amount at the start of the session instead of volunteering and fundraising. Alternatively, families may volunteer and fundraise the bond value. Families will be notified two weeks prior to the end of their program about the status of their volunteering and fundraising efforts. If the bond values have not been met, it is the family’s responsibility to pay the remaining difference to the club. This difference must be paid by the program end date with cash, cheque (Elites Gymnastics) or e-transfer (elitestreasurer@gmail.com). If the difference is not paid by the last day of classes, the original bond cheque(s) will be cashed regardless of the volunteering and/or fundraising efforts. Bond cheques not being cashed due to values being met will be destroyed prior to the start of the next session of programming.
Bond cheques are to be written and submitted to the club on the first day of classes. If by the third day of classes a cheque has not been submitted, the gymnast will not be able to participate in their program. Cheques will be dated based on the below information.

Elites Gymnastics Club thanks any families who volunteer and/or fundraise more than what is required. We appreciate the additional time and effort put forward by these individuals. Cheques will not be written to these families for any surplus volunteering and fundraising efforts. Volunteer Information The volunteer bond rate is $40 per hour for each hour of volunteering required. The number of hours required varies depending on the program level (see below breakdown). For siblings or gymnasts from the same household, the $40 per hour bond rate is applied to the highest priced program. For each additional child form the same household, the volunteer bond rate is $20 per hour. *Spring Session volunteer values are the same as the condensed session.
The fundraising bond rate is 60% of the registration fee, rounded to the nearest $5 increment.
For siblings or gymnasts from the same household, the 60% bond rate is applied to the highest priced program.
For each additional child from the same household, the fundraising bond rate is 30% of the registration fee, rounded to the nearest $5 increment.
In a Spring Session for mini/novice/mighty elites, advanced elites and junior elites, Values are the same as the condensed session.
The profit made off each fundraiser is the amount applied to the bond, not the overall sales amount. See below for bond cheque calculation breakdown by program.
Fundraising efforts are currently going towards payment of our tumble track, trampoline, and foam pit.
Families may choose to participate in any or all listed fundraisers.
All fundraising items must be picked up during the scheduled dates/times, we do not have the availability of storage.
All cheque payments are made to the club (Elites Gymnastics).
We only accept cheques, e-transfer (elitestreasurer@gmail.com), cash or money orders for payment.
